Proposed Skatepark Projects
Franklin’s Paine continues to push forward with identifying, proposing, and designing potential new neighborhood skateparks around Philadelphia. Pop’s Playground has set an example for the potential of community skatepark projects to bring youth and families together and positively effect a community, and we hope to replicate this success with other projects and new partnerships. We have been keeping our eyes and ears open this past year, and are happy to have a working list of skate spots that we are working to develop along with community groups and Philadelphia Parks and Recreation. We’re in various stages at each location and we will continue to update these pages as we make progress with our proposals and outreach.
Take a look, and if you notice a spot you’ve skated, live in one of these neighborhoods, and are interested in volunteering, please let us know! (claire@franklinspaine.com, 215-222-4300)
